Thank you to all the educators and centres that participated in the Anchored in Care Initiative in 2024. As we continue to plan professional development opportunities, we are committed to promoting the early years profession, recruiting and retaining quality educators, and engaging with our community to provide responsive program planning.
We are collecting feedback on the Anchored in Care Initiative provided by Early Years Strategy Specialist, Sylvie St. Pierre, in order to improve the support provided to your centres.
- The survey is voluntary. You can choose not to take part in the survey or to skip any question you would rather not answer.
- If you would like to enter your email into a gift card draw, your email will not be shared with centre staff or the Early Years Strategy Specialist team. Emails are collected and separated from responses prior to data analysis and will only be used to contact the winners of the gift cards.
If you have any questions regarding the survey or need assistance, please contact the Program Evaluator Laura Sapateiro via email at laurasa@chatham-kent.ca.

The May 15th Heartwork and so much more PD day event was the 3nd Chatham Kent system-wide professional development day for our early years and child care community in 2022-2023. The objective of the day was to build off the momentum from previous PD Day events while 'getting back to basics' and reconnecting with the foundations of How Does Learning Happen? - Belonging, Well-Being, Engagement, and Expression.
In order to assess the day against our objective, and to support future professional development planning activities, we ask you to provide feedback through this short survey. Responses are anonymous unless you provide your name for a chance to win a draw prize.
If you would like to be entered into a draw for 1 of 40 $10 gas card, don't forget to share your name and contact information at the end of survey!

October 21, Heartwork and so much more - CELEBRATE, is the 2nd Chatham Kent system-wide professional development day for our early years and child care community in 2022. The objective of the day is to build off the momentum from May 9, and celebrate child care work and early childhood educator appreciation day. Recognizing the value of our child care and early years community through professional development, and celebrating community accomplishments, is one part of a larger strategy to attract, sustain, enhance, and grow our child care and early years workforce.
In order to assess the day against our objective, and to support future professional development planning activities, we ask you to provide feedback through this short survey. Responses are anonymous and will be shared with the planning team.
