Hey CK, we want to hear from you! Your input will help shape how Chatham-Kent supports residents at risk of and currently experiencing homelessness challenges as part of its ten-year Housing and Homelessness Plan, a plan mandated by the Province of Ontario. Whether or not you have personal experience with homelessness, we would like to hear your opinion on how to best tackle homelessness over the next 10 years in Chatham-Kent. This survey is meant to start an open and honest conversation about what’s working, what’s missing, and what can be done better.
Why Your Input Matters
Understand the reasons people experience homelessness
Identify gaps in services and support programs
Find out which services are helping the most
Make better decisions about funding, resources, and new programs over the next ten years
How Your Answers Will Be Used
This survey is anonymous and confidential and should take around 10 minutes to complete. The only mandatory personal details we ask for are your age, gender, and ward. This helps us better understand different experiences across our community. If you wish to be contacted for further engagement on this topic, you can choose to leave your name and email.
Your responses will only be seen by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent Housing Services department and Vision Us, a nonprofit organization acting as a consultant on this project, for the purposes of creating the ten-year Housing and Homelessness Plan. Your responses will be combined with others to identify patterns and trends in responses.
A public report will be created and shared with the community and the Ontario government to help guide future efforts. This survey is an opportunity to share your thoughts - your responses will not negatively affect any services you may currently receive.
If you have any questions or need help completing the survey, please contact Phillip Mock at phill@visionus.ca or 226-794-5295.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!
