The Wallaceburg Water Servicing project is being conducted as a Schedule “C” Class Environmental Assessment (EA) and follows the process outlines in the Municipal Engineers Association’s (MEA’s) Municipal Class EA document. The objective of the Wallaceburg Water Servicing EA is to develop a preferred solution for the Wallaceburg Water Supply, including Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and the raw water intake and low-lift pumping station (LLPS). There is also an opportunity to examine the alternatives for a water transmission main to meet the water supply demand in a new pressure zone of the Dresden Water Distribution System, which is currently supplied by the Chatham WTP.
