The ESS Management Team continues to build training into sustainability planning. Hiring external trainers (i.e., resiliency training), training internal employees on specialty topics like Compassion Fatigue and Trauma-Informed Approaches etc., is part of this. Further, there is a recognized need for micro-sessions like “Hot Topics” for technical training on specific legislation, processes, or SAMs. Each staff member has expertise on certain topics that could help their colleagues.
